  • Break the myths about our wine region – Vinhos Verdes – we’ll tell you how it all started.
  • Our tour guides always have some degree of expertise on the subject. This tour will be conducted by a former professional chef, with years dedicated to gastronomy.

Last but not least, we’ll have a surprise souvenir for you!

Itinerary

MEETING POINT
We’ll welcome you with an introduction to the city’s history and its deep connection to the sea.
FISHING DOCKS
You will begin by learning about the significance of our port and the evolution of fishing practices over time. Discover the products from our coast and – of course – taste them!
RIBEIRA'S COMMUNITY
This is the community of the fishermen and the most important neighborhood for local gastronomy. Learn about the devotion of these people and how their lives are bound to the ocean in a deep sense. We will eat at a local fishermen’s “tasco”, tasting the best “petiscos”.
FAREWELL (and surprise!)
We don’t say goodbye without our surprise souvenir! Enjoy this moment and take the chance to relax and talk to our guides. Ask them for advices on where to eat and go for your next days in Viana do Castelo or nearby cities. This will be the appropriate time if you want to show some appreciation for their effort.
